Pierre
Lacasse
Y.K. Financial Brokers Ltd. was formed in 1986 in Yellowknife,
N.W.T.
In1987 Pierre moved to Whitehorse to open an office for Ted Thompson Investments
and Insurance Services. In November of 1987, Pierre opened an office for Ted
Thompson. In the fall of 1988, Ted Thompson Investments merged
with Versatile Financial Cooperation and Financial Concept Group.
Pierre assumed the
name of Financial Concept Group. Under new management, the
board of directors decided to close the Yukon office. Pierre researched the industry
and decided to join forces with PlanVest Financial Corp. (this took place in February
1988).
When PlanVest opened a securities division, Pierre proceeded with the name
change to PlanVest Securities Corporation. In the spring of 1992, PlanVest acquired
control of C.M Oliver & Company. With this acquisition came a name change to
C.M. Oliver. This company introduced a new corporate philosophy which was
incompatible with Pierre's situation. Once again Pierre had to
research the industry for a
company with whom to associate.
This brings us to F.P.C. Investments
Inc. Pierre's association with this company began in August of 1992 and with any
luck will not have to go through any other changes.
